I don't normally do this kind of thing, but I had a reader of my masterpieces send me some of his own reading material in response to the whole BP oil spill reaction, and how poorly the US gov't responded to the recent New Orleans disasters as opposed to how quickly the very same gov't reacted to fucking the problems in Haiti. I couldn't help but agree with him completely, so without futher yammer out of me...here are his musings:
